What ingredients do your Soaps Contain?

Specific Ingredients are listed under each individual soap. Our soaps are made with a variety of "saponified" vegetable oils and butters with added ingredients such as essential oils, raw honey, oats, salts, activated charcoal, clays and more. Any added ingredients contain a purpose to benefit certain skin types. 

What does "saponified" mean?

Saponification is the process by which triglycerides are reacted with potassium hydroxide (lye) to produce glycerol and a fatty acid salt called "soap." The triglycerides are most often animal fats or vegetable oils. Our shop uses food grade lye to produce its soap and it cured for a minimum of 4 weeks. The process of curing allows for any lye to be evaporated and giving you the end result of soap.

Are your products vegan?

Yes our products are vegan, however, there are some vegans who consider raw honey and beeswax as not vegan because it comes from the labor of bees. We have a few products at the moment that contain these products "honey bums" soap, "wash your ash" soap and "Glow" exfoliant. The remaining of the products do not contain these ingredients and made will plant-based ingredients.

Do your soaps contain palm oil?

No, our soaps do not contain palm oil. There has been many concerns on it growing demand and how it has a negative impact– to forests, climate, people and endangered species. There has been initiatives to try to help these issues but the demand for deforestation does not seem to be slowing down. So, as a brand we strive to remain ethical in this practice. How are your products scented?

Our products are scented with only a combination of plant-based essential oils and spices. We do not use fragrance. Although they can have a delightful smell these scents can be made up of thousands of ingredients that can be absorbed straight into your bloodstream. Returns:

What is your return policy?

Any unopened/unused product can gladly be returned within 14 days of date it was mailed out for a refund. We are not responsible for any shipping fees for returned items. Please contact us immediately if you have received a wrong or damaged item and we will do our best to rectify the issue as promptly as possible and will be handled on a case by case basis.

Taking into consideration that items are handmade and in small batches there may be slight differences in products. Also due to weather conditions when shipping our skin frostings can have the potential to melt with heat, if placed in a cool area or fridge it will return to a stiff consistency.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Typically 3-5 business days for processing. We make everything from scratch  to make sure you get the freshest product as possible. The shipping estimate displayed at checkout is considered the transit time frame and does not include processing. We appreciate the patience.

Do you donate a percentage of your sales?

As a start up small business we are working hard to produce, re-invest and grow our brand. Just like in our story it is our mission to "grow, become fruitful and contribute". We are looking into giving back when we experience some growth. Please continue to check back for more updates.
